Compression Therapy
Specially designed garments are often the first treatment used to address venous reflux and other vein disorders. They are also used as a preventative measure.
Microphlebectomy
This is a specialized treatment for varicose veins that are too large to be treated with sclerotherapy. The veins are removed through small incisions.
Radiofrequency Ablation
RFA is a minimally invasive treatment that uses radiofrequency energy to close veins. We use RFA with Venefit to treat chronic venous insufficiency.
Sclerotherapy
Sclerotherapy is an injection treatment used to eliminate small- to medium-sized varicose veins and spider veins.
Ultrasound-Guided Sclerotherapy
USG is a minimally invasive procedure that uses ultrasound to locate the veins and a foam sclerosant injection to close them.
What To Expect
During your first appointment at AQUA Vein Center, a vein specialist will perform a physical exam and an ultrasound of your veins, arteries and possibly your heart. Your vein specialists will develop a treatment plan, utilizing the most advanced and minimally invasive vein treatments available.
Your physician will discuss the recommended treatment plan with you and answer any questions you have. Once approved, your appointments will be scheduled at the office where all procedures will be performed. Because our vein treatment protocols do not require sedation or general anesthesia, you can resume normal activities right after your procedure.
Post-Treatment Healing
Your AQUA Vein Center physician may suggest these treatments to help ensure your quick recovery from a vein procedure.
Vasculera
The diosmin in Vasculera (diosmiplex) is a molecule used to manage complications of vein disease. Diosmin is a naturally occurring flavonoid that can be isolated from food sources (such as citrus) or derived from a related flavonoid called hesperidin, which is found primarily in oranges.
Dermaka
Dermaka is an all-natural, plant-based cream enriched with vitamins. It can be used to address skin problems caused by invasive vein procedures including phlebectomy, sclerotherapy, chemical peels and laser peels. It also has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antioxidant properties. Clinical testing has shown Dermaka quickly resolves inflammation and bruising.
